We Paid, But Never Saw the Work: Checkatrade Fail.
My story with Checkatrade became a total disaster. I booked a trader through their platform to handle some vital home repairs. They looked legitimate at first, but it ended up a appalling ordeal.
Although I sent the full amount upfront, the work never started. Contact became impossible. It's been weeks, and I'm still left with a gaping hole where my sense of security once was.
Checkatrade has been beyond frustrating throughout this whole process. They laughed at my plight. It feels like I've been robbed.
